Calling All Home Renovators
- On February 1, 2023
As some of you know, the 148 homes of Landmark Mews were built over six years, beginning in 1982, by three companies, all following the same design for one-car-garage townhouses. There are two styles: the Byron and the Keats. The Byron is about 4,600 square feet, and the Keats is about 3,850 square feet. They are all four stories tall and have three full baths and two half baths. For the lucky few, some homes even have elevators!
It’s been 41 years since the first townhomes were built in Landmark Mews. Housing prices have gone up and down and design trends have come and gone. One thing most homeowners have in common is the desire to retain and/or increase the value of their homes and the most common way to do this is through home renovations and improvement projects.
This Spring, the LMCA Community Committee is sponsoring a 3-part series featuring home tours of renovations/improvements. If you have had a home renovation or home improvement project that you would be willing to “show and tell” to your neighbors, we encourage you to sign up. It’s a great way to share design ideas and decorating tips, particularly since we have so many similar floor plans. Sharing your experience, both good and bad, and any contractor recommendations is also helpful information to share.
We will have 3 tours this Spring and all will have a time frame of 2:00pm-5:00pm on Sundays:
- Sunday, March 26th – Kitchen remodels
- Sunday, April 23rd – Bathroom remodels
- Sunday, May 21st – Laundry / Basement / or Backyard remodels
If you are interested in opening your home for a remodel tour, please contact one of the following volunteer Community Committee members no later than Saturday, February 18 for the Sunday, March 26 Kitchen Remodels.
