Every March, National Social Work Month recognizes the dedication and empathy social workers across the country deliver while providing services to children and adults in need. Social workers are advocates, advisors, counselors, and facilitators in schools, clinics, businesses, and government offices.

Safety Driving Tips

While driving in the neighborhood, please be mindful and obey the speed limits, pedestrians, and stop signs posted throughout the community.  Many residents still, report instances of drivers not obeying the posted traffic signs and other infractions such as vehicles parked in the fire lanes or alongside curbs.  Residents are reminded, parking in a fire lane or in other prohibited no parking areas in the Landmark Mews community violates Fairfax County ordinance and subjects vehicles to towing without notice.

It is critical to remember, as summer approaches and school aged children are outside, please use caution while driving and keep a sharp look out for children throughout the neighborhood streets.

Remember To:

1. Drive slowly. By driving at or under the reduced speed limits, you can reduce or prevent risks of a severe accident.
2. Exercise caution at intersections and turns. Look in all directions for potential hazards and children playing.
3. Stop at all posted stop signs.
4. Always give pedestrians the right of way.
5. Always use caution when driving in the neighborhood.
6. Observe the No Parking areas (yellow curbs) and Visitor Parking guidelines.
7. Please obtain a LMCA parking decal for your permanent vehicles.
8. If service vehicles require curbside parking adjacent to a residence during any type of service for a prolonged period of time, please ensure traffic cones are set up adjacent to the service vehicle as a precautionary measure.

Landscaping Notice

Brightview, LMCA’s landscaping company, will apply the first application of Fertilizer and weed control on 3/28/2022 if weather permits.  Please ensure pets remain clear of treated areas during periods products are applied.
