Lighting, Parking, Covenants
- On August 7, 2021
The Board is aware of various lights outages throughout the community consisting of streetlamps, wall units, and the landscaping lights, which all have been marked and identified with a red ribbon.
On Wednesday, the system was evaluated by a licensed electrician and no immediate electrical problems were identified. It appears, most of the outages may just be blown bulbs.
The electrician and lighting technician will reevaluate the system this weekend to further troubleshoot and fault isolate the systems to include all 13 breaker sections, power junctions, pole platforms as well as replace any identified burned-out bulbs.
I will update the community once the problem has been isolated and rectified.
There has been an increase reporting of vehicles parked along the curbs and in the streets within the community to include parking directly fronts of resident’s homes. Curb side and street parking are not allowed throughout the Landmark Mews community. This practice is unsafe and illegal. Vehicles violating this parking restriction are subject to ticketing and towing at owner’s expense. Residents are encouraged to direct visitors, contractors, and guests to utilize the visitor parking areas.
As a Landmark Mews resident, you must seek approval from the Covenants Committee before you make any exterior modification to your home or lot such as fences, decks, patios, landscaping, exterior painting, shutter replacement, door replacement, window replacement, or any other work that affects the outward appearance of your property.
Specific standards, exceptions, and guidance can be found in the Architectural Standards, which is available on Welcome To Landmark Mews – Landmark Mews Community Association.
Owners are especially encouraged to secure the approval of the Covenants Committee prior to signing any agreement or contract to have work accomplished. If you have any questions about the process, please contact Loren Sciurba, Covenants Committee Chairman at email@example.com.
